Power Path is now a permanent part of PokerStars, according to PokerNews. Players can receive a free $0.50 Step 1 Power Path ticket every day through PokerStars Rewards.
The article says Power Path has sent players to both online and live events, with Special Edition Gold Passes covering buy-ins, travel and accommodation. Gold Passes are tied to events such as the European Poker Tour, the SCOOP and WCOOP online festivals, and Special Edition passes for the NAPT and the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
For Gold Passes, players choose up to four PokerStars Open events. After redeeming, the PokerStars live events team contacts the winner to learn which events within the Pass value they want to attend and how they can accommodate the request.
Silver Passes also offer live and online experiences, according to the article. The lowest tier of Pass is worth $530.
