Two Spooky Sunday Special events run on November 1, both starting at 6:05 p.m. GMT on PokerStars. Both are hosted by PokerStars Ambassador Kenny "SpaceyFCB" Hallaert.
The $5.50 Mini Spooky Sunday Special has a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players start with 25,000 chips, and late registration lasts 2.5 hours with up to five re-entries allowed. Blinds start at 100/200/25a and rise every 10 minutes.
The $75 Spooky Sunday Special has a $250,000 guarantee. Players start with 50,000 chips. Level 1 blinds are 125/250/30a, rising every 15 minutes for the first 15 levels and every 12 minutes after that. Late registration lasts four hours, with up to five bullets allowed.
Both events use a progressive knockout format. The source says each bounty is worth at least $1.25 in the $5.50 event and at least $12.50 in the $75 event. Eliminating Hallaert in either event earns a $109 ticket to the Sunday Million Spooky Season Finale, which has a $1 million guarantee and is scheduled for November 8.
